Always an Adventure
During one visit you may see art quilts that look like paintings done in fabrics. The next visit may tell the story of life in the 1800’s. Next is a kaleidoscope of colors and fabrics of a single appliqué quilter. Crazy quilts always amaze with the many stitches and stories. Prefer an exhibit of textiles? How about the story of Chenille? Rather a display of quilts that grandmothers made that future famous individuals might have slept under? How about “Last Words” done in antique linens, graverubbings, and quilting? Quarterly exhibits keep the stories fresh and the exhibits entertaining.
Members and Donors provide a significant portion of the funds the Museum needs to fulfill its mission to preserve, protect and promote the art and craft of quilting.
